Cut from the hind leg, our springbok steak is packaged in 230g portions, ready to be sizzled in the pan for a meal. Springbok steak has a remarkably fine texture and lightness, giving you a melt-in-the-mouth feeling. We use our Tendernade™ process to ensure an extra tender, juicy steak.
Our springbok steak is the ultimate fast food. Defrost the steak to room temperature, season to taste with black pepper, herbs or garlic then fry in a very hot heavy pan with a knob of butter until seared brown on both sides. Remove from heat and let stand for a few minutes. Should be served rare to medium-rare. Eat as is or slice thinly to serve on a wild salad. Cooking time is less than five minutes.
